Hi all,
I have a question about designing a network. The plan is to have one HQ site with 4 branches for the start. But in the near future there will be up to 14 branches.
So what will be the best solution on a network basis, to be somehow resilient, cost effecive and some guarantee for bitrate and delay variation?
I thought that Frame-Relay would be a good choice since if I remember right it is based on ATM which has very godd QoS parameters..?
What do you think?
Thanks for your input.

Hi Yves
This all depends on your country and services providers operating there.
I would recommend getting a L3 MPLS VPN, this scales very well and you can get different offerings (Service Level Agreements) from your SP wrt. availability, QoS and jitter.

Keeping up with the technology, MPLS can be a good solution.
Depending on the load & upload / download factors, adsl is another option.
FR is also a gud solution depending on availability & is economical as well.
Point-to-point with hub-spoke topology is one more option. But expensive.
