Nexus 7K licensing issue.

Hi

We have Nexus 7018 is on production. Recently it is been configured.

When we issue below command, we get "License missing"

This means license has not been installed? we have purchased part#N7K-LAN1K9

NX-7018-SW# show license usage

Hi,

Try copying the license file from the stand-by switch to the active switch and install it.

Hi,

yes, it must be installed.

Do you have a .lic file in your file system (usually in bootflash:)?

Try typing 'show license file ?' and check what you see

to install the license

install license bootflash:///.lic

and then you check again 'show license usage'

We have nexus 7018 with 2 N7K-SUP1

In standby SUP I can see .lic file, but in active there is no .lic file.

Is something wrong ? or shall I copy standby .lic file in active SUP and install?
