1140 PEAP IAS Issue

Hi everyone,

I am trying to set up a 1140 IOS (stand alone) access point with MS IAS server using PEAP.

Everything is working, users can connect and authenticate with the access point, I see successes in the IAS log.

But once connected no data can be passed so no IP address is recieved by the client and if I sent it to a manual IP nothing can be pinged.

There are no errors in the AP or IAS logs.

I have tried the access point on 2 totally different domains with the same results.

I have had this working fine in the past with 1130 AP's

Any ideas much appreciated?

thanks

Just to add the AP works fine in WPA2-PSK mode.

Re: 1140 PEAP IAS Issue

Take a look at this troubleshooting guide and run the debug commands.  Doesn't really look like authentication is working completley.  When you switch to WPA2-PSK everything works, so your network portion is good.  So that leaves the EAP configuration to troubleshoot.

Run the debug commands and post the log if you see anything.
