2 SSID's with different Radius Servers

I need to setup 2 different SSID's on my 1231 AP one using our internal RADIUS Server. The other using the Local RADIUS Server on the AP if possible. Has anyone done this? If not my only option is WPA-PSK for the Guest SSID I think.

Re: 2 SSID's with different Radius Servers

1. Are the cient cards Aironet cards (Cisco) or are they any other brand?

2. Which IOS version is used in your device?

Re: 2 SSID's with different Radius Servers

Yes its possible

setup the local radius server on the AP

create one radius group which defines your internal radius server, create another radius group which defines the AP's radius server

on the ssid configuration use the authenticatio open eap config command to point the SSID to the appropriate radius group.

Should work fine.

BTW. The other way to do this is to use a common RADIUS server and let the radius server's policies determine what happens Eg. username@mycompany.com are authenticated locally and user@somewhereelse.com are authenticated by another radius server. .
