We are going to start purchasing 3850s as a standard but, I have a few questions.
I'm a little confused about the intended fuction of the 3850s.
Is "Mobility agent mode" the same type of archecture we are used to with a centralized controller handling all of the roaming, and authentication functions and the switch simply providing wireless AP access?
Is the "Mobility Controller" mode allowing the 3850 to function as the controller and replacing the controller fuctionality in total?
One of the selling points of the 3850 is that it eliminates the need for a controller at remote sites. Doesn't flex connect serve this fuction as well?
IS PoE+ recommended for the new 3702i AC Access-Point?
Please provide me with any documentation you might have come across, explaining the intended archetecture in detail - if you know of any. I've read the data sheets but, they don't really go into much detail - just high level stuff.
