We recently installed a WLC 4402 and upgraded all of our standalone AP's to LWAPP's. Each of the previous AP's had an entry in IAS Radius. Can these be safely removed from IAS now? As far as I can see from the IAS logs, all authentication requests are received from the WLC only.
If I can remove them, it will allow me to add other Cisco devices to IAS since Microsoft sets a 50 client limit.
I have not been able to find a definitive answer to this in the documentation.

I don't have any link to this, but yes, you can remove the individual APs from your Radius server.
The authentication is now handled by the WLC and IAS Radius.

I thought so but wanted to make sure before I started deleting them.
Thanks for the reply Steve!
