I need some idea with regards to our 1310 bridge. It was operational for more than a year and suddenly connectivity is lost. If in back to back mode, two bridges are ok. If connected at in actual distance (3km), no association is found.
We have seen CRC & Header CRC errors increasing. At the root bridge, host bytes received showed increasing value but Host Bytes Sent showed 0 value.
This could be because of RF inteference. Does the two end points have clear Line of Sight. The increase in CRC and header errors is a clear indication that the environment is the root cause of the problem. To resolve this we need to identify the objects that are causing the RF interference and either remove the obstacles or re-position the Bridges so that it is not affected by the interference.
Have you done and upgrade lately to the IOS? I know when we installed one set of bridges. The software version we were using had a bug. We downgraded to an earlier version and connected with no issues.
