AP 1100 vs 1200

What is/are feature(s) different?

The 1100 is shown on Cisco's web site, but here is a quick update:

The 1100 does not have 802.11a and I don't think it ever will. Also it runs Cisco IOS, so it has features like VLAN, Multiple SSIDs and Access List features. The 1200 will run Cisco IOS in the future.

So in my opinion the 1100, and 1200 are the first true Cisco wireless products since the Aironet purchase. A step in the right direction. My opinion is the 1100 is a replacement product for the 350. (Ouch, did I say that out loud?)

From what I can tell they only offer the 1100 in 2.4 anyone else see a difference?

The 1100 is IOS based.

Don't forget the fixed antenna. on the 1100. The 1200 and 350 series offer RPTNC ports to allow for different antenna configurations - a plus when designing cell coverage.
