AP EtherType Filters

I'm using an Aironet 350 AP with 11.21 firmware and tring to apply an IPX filter on the radio side of the AP. I created the IPX filter using 0x8137 and 0x8138 ipx protocol and set the disposition to block, but when I apply the filter to TX and RX on the radio side of the AP I loose all communications on the radio side of the AP including IP. I also have a 2nd AP with firmware 11.03 and when I create the same filter for IPX it doesn't block any communications. It woks as if no filters were ever applied.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Use software bug toolkit at http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Support/Bugtool/home.pl. You’ll need a TAC support contact to get to that link. You might want to visit the TAC website for details. www.cisco.com/tac and http://www.cisco.com/public/scc/. In any case, you’re going to need to work with a TAC engineer to resolve this as the bug has a “Junked” status (meaning Cisco couldn’t find a problem.)

Are you setting just the ethertype's disposition to block, or the entire filter set's disposition to block? The filter set's disposition must be set to forward and each ethertype set to block. If you block the filter set, all traffic will stop flowing.
