AP's not authenticating

Hi,

On my wireless network no one can suddenly connect i have looked in the log's on one of the ap's and have found this message.

%LEAPCL-3-FAILED: AP Authentication to the WDS failed

I have done a debug on the authentication state on the WDS output below:

*Mar 8 02:32:19.368: wlccp_ap_fsm: START-FSM: event:wlccp_ap_ev_timeout, state: wlccp_ap_st_init

*Mar 8 02:32:19.368: wlccp_ap_fsm: start AP leap authentication

*Mar 8 02:32:19.368: wlccp_ap_fsm: END-FSM:state:wlccp_ap_st_init -> state: wlccp_ap_st_leap_auth

*Mar 8 02:32:19.374: wlccp_ap_fsm: leap_auth_resp status failed

*Mar 8 02:32:19.374: wlccp_ap_fsm: START-FSM: event:wlccp_ap_ev_leap_reply, state: wlccp_ap_st_leap_auth

*Mar 8 02:32:19.374: wlccp_ap_fsm: retry leap authentication later...

Would resetting the wlcpp password on the WDS and the AP's resolve this?

Thanks

Kev

Re: AP's not authenticating

If you are running a WLC or WiSM, (i.e.: Lightweight) you may want to check to make sure that the security hashes are still in your controller.

Typically, these are created on your controller once you have migrated to LWAP.
