AP SSO HA - Where to begin?

I need to peer a new AIR-CT5508-HA-K9 with an existing 5508-50 currently in production.  Where to begin?

The existing 5508 is running 7.2.115.1. and is cabled to a 6509 via port-channel.  What is the recommended code level now for the existing 5508 to utilize HA?

Can I cable the HA 5508 to the 6509's redundant peer three doors down the same row?

Do I need to match up the code levels on the two 5508's before attempting to peer.

How much config do I need to put on the HA 5508?  Basically, just IP?

Any gotcha's to watch out for?

Any links to docs, YouTube videos, etc.  would be much appreciated!

     on the 7.5 its supported. "no direct connection, but same L2"

7.5.  Please use 7.5.  For goodness sake, please don't use 7.4 and enable SSO.

I've read here that 7.3 is questionable at best.  7.4 is no better?  This HA pair is for an LE application and must be bulletproof.

Running HA SSO in 7.4 is downright a Russian Roulette.   Read the 7.4 Release Notes and see for yourself.

I am currently using 7.5 with HA SSO and we've tested the SSO in production hours using production blades.  No issues.  Can't say the same with 7.4.
