APs randomly not broadcast SSIDs

Cisco WLC 4400

Software version 7.0.250

50 APs are in model 1131AG

I monitor this symptom for a week that all APs in the system are not broadcast SSIDs in random time.

All APs are in Local mode.

Up time of AP is several.

Controller associated time just 10 minutes ***

Why APs are disassociated with the controller? and how to fix it?

Thank you in advance,

Did message log of WLC

Did message log of WLC indicating a reason for those disassociation ?

It may be a bug if the behavior is consistent. I think best to reach TAC & see if any known issue with this code. If it is they may able to provide you an engineering release that has a fix

Why APs are disassociated

Why APs are disassociated with the controller?

How are the APs powered?  PoE or Injector or Power Supply?

Up time of AP is several.

And what do you mean by this?  Are you saying that the UP time and the association time of the APs are very, very similar?

Hi Leo, 1.APs are connected

Hi Leo,

1.APs are connected to PoE switch.

2.UP time of AP is more than time of controller associated time.

UP time is 16d but controller associated time is 6h 14m.

I think it is abnormal in the wireless system.

Please help me to investigate.

Thanks,

Ok so if the AP has a higher

Ok so if the AP has a higher uptime than the connection time, then check the status of your switch.  Something is causing the AP to loose contact with the WLC.
