ASA5550 VPN premium licence

Hi,

I have a client with an ASA5550 that has the following licenced features. The output below shows that it has the VPN Premium Licence, can it be confirmed if this is a standard feature of the ASA5550 or is it a licence that needs to be purchased. The client needs to buy a replacement device which I can get hold of as a Cisco refurb unit, but I want to ensure it is licenced with any additional licences correctly.

Hello, Richard. Just to give

Hello, Richard.

Just to give you a heads up, the Cisco ASA 5550 are already been announced as End of Life. You can check this link to see the available features on an ASA 5550 base license: (http://cs.co/9006qBFe).

Are you planning on reselling this to your client, by the way?

Let me know if you have other concerns or need more support. (adawa@cisco.com).

Kind regards.

Brilliant thanks for the

Brilliant thanks for the response.

Fully understand that the 5550 is end of life. The client are budgeting for replacing all of their older ASA units as a major upgrade project. But in the short term they need to replace a existing unit with a refurb unit.

Thanks again for the response.
