BBSM 5.3 - Packet Inactivity Period

We are using BBSM 5.3(SP2) at latest level of code.

Problem:

********

Sometimes user sessions do not time out.

(We are using the default page set "RadiusUBand")

The packet inactivity timer is defined and should terminate ALL sessions automatically, but customer has to deactivate many sessions manually every day ...

Any ideas ?

Re: BBSM 5.3 - Packet Inactivity Period

The packet inactivity timer sees each packet coming from the client and will reset each time it sees one. It sounds to me like you still have traffic resetting the inactivity timer if the clients are staying connected.

The clients are definitely not connected anymore. (it's easy to figure out).

There is definitely no traffic passing BBSM but the sessions will not be deactivated automatically.
