BPDUs from an AP?

Will an access point that's connected to a switch send bpdus to the switch? I know that the switch will send bpdus to the AP, but I don't think the AP will normally send bpdus. However, I have an Aironet AP that has done so. I'm thinking that if it's not the AP that's doing it, then there is a user connected to the AP with a bridged connection on their local box, and it's their bridge that's sending bpdus through the AP to the switch.

I'd appreciate any thoughts or comments on this.

Thanks,

Jeff

Re: BPDUs from an AP?

Generally, the AP shouldn't be sending BPDUs. I looked at my switch on all ports, and none of those are receiving bpdus on the port.
