Can you recover WLSE admin id without resetting WLSE to factory defaults?

I need to produce reports and have noted problem with using an id other than admin (CSCsd66542).

In my Admin > Manage Users there is no admin listed (I login with my own id with admin role).

I cannot add 'admin' because "User admin already created by admin".

I cannot delete admin because "admin does not exist in user list"

I cannot modify 'admin' because "Use admin does not exist".

Is there anyway of recvoering 'admin without going through the recovery process which resets WLSE to factory defaults?

I do not know the history whereby 'admin' has disappeared, but hasnt!

Default user admin is reserved and cannot be deleted or changed. Secondly, only if you login as admin user, you can see all the other users and modify them, not the other way around. So, even though you have logged in as a user which have all the rights, you will not see admin user listed and hence cannot modify it. This is expected behaviour. If you have lost the admin password, you need to do the password recovery procedure listed in the docs.
