I am trying to add an 8510 controller to cisco Prime using SNMPv3.
I've never had any problems adding the 5760, 5508, or virtual controllers.
Solar Winds works fine using R/O SNMPv3, but when I try to add it to Prime, I get this message:
*SNMPTask: Aug 08 10:08:22.653: SNMPD: Packet from: 10.10.x.x:58540, in_packet_len = 132
*SNMPTask: Aug 08 10:08:22.653: SNMPD: Failed to build in SnmpMessage.
*SNMPTask: Aug 08 10:08:22.653: SNMPD: *NOT* sending out packet, out_packet_len = 0
What gives? This should work fine...it has in the past. I'm not a fan of using SNMPv2.
My head is flat from banging it against the wall trying to get this to work. Any suggestions.

It turns out that this situation was caused by a bug in 7.6.120.0 (CSCuo73572).
TAC handed me an escalation image (7.6.120.16) that fixed this.
Added the controllers sucessfully on the first try.
