changing WCS web ports....

is there a way to change the WCS web ports (http, https) on the WCS that is already up and running?

Re: changing WCS web ports....

In the linux version

edit httpd.conf under /opt/WCS/webnms/apache/conf

and change the ports there

restart WCS

Re: changing WCS web ports....

thanks, eric!

the wcs is running on the windows 2003 server.

anyways, my problem was solved when we asked the customer to open the https port on their firewall.

the problem was, wcs is inaccessible from other subnets, except its own, in the entire lan and wlan. and opening the ports resolved the issue.

thanks for your input.

Re: changing WCS web ports....

The file should be the same in windows, but in a different location.

We lock our WCS down to our own management networks as well
