Cisco 1130 - get @Mac of associated clients

Me again... I have an other issue...

I'm trying to receive the mac-address for all the

connected clients to a Cisco access-point (Cisco1130) by SNMP.

The best way to do this seems with the cDot11ClientConfigInfoTable

The problem i have is that the mac-address of the clients isn't

readable. The permission for this OID is 'not-accessible'

Does any know if there is a possibility to change this permission or

if there is another way to get the mac-address from

all the connected clients by SNMP(or in another way than SNMP)?

Thanks u by advance!

Re: Cisco 1130 - get @Mac of associated clients

cDot11ClientAddress ( is part of the index for

the cDot11ClientConfigInfoTable and therefore "not-accessible".

The last 6 octets of every OID in that table is the client MAC.

So you could walk cDot11ClientAid (Association ID) and get the following:

CISCO-DOT11-ASSOCIATION-MIB::cDot11ClientAid[1]["SSID1"][0:30:f1:XX:XX:XX] = Gauge32: 222

CISCO-DOT11-ASSOCIATION-MIB::cDot11ClientAid[1]["SSID1"][0:60:b3:XX:XX:XX] = Gauge32: 184

CISCO-DOT11-ASSOCIATION-MIB::cDot11ClientAid[1]["SSID2"][0:e:35:XX:XX:XX] = Gauge32: 54

CISCO-DOT11-ASSOCIATION-MIB::cDot11ClientAid[1]["SSID2"][0:12:17:XX:XX:XX] = Gauge32: 204

CISCO-DOT11-ASSOCIATION-MIB::cDot11ClientAid[1]["SSID2"][0:12:f0:XX:XX:XX] = Gauge32: 252

CISCO-DOT11-ASSOCIATION-MIB::cDot11ClientAid[1]["SSID2"][0:14:a5:XX:XX:XX] = Gauge32: 124

CISCO-DOT11-ASSOCIATION-MIB::cDot11ClientAid[1]["SSID2"][0:14:bf:XX:XX:XX] = Gauge32: 151

CISCO-DOT11-ASSOCIATION-MIB::cDot11ClientAid[1]["SSID2"][0:14:bf:XX:XX:XX] = Gauge32: 77

CISCO-DOT11-ASSOCIATION-MIB::cDot11ClientAid[1]["SSID2"][0:14:bf:XX:XX:XX] = Gauge32: 11

Re: Cisco 1130 - get @Mac of associated clients

Another possibility is "cd11IfAssignedSta" from the CISCO-DOT11-IF-MIB.

The cd11IfAssignedAidTable always contains rows for all possible AIDs

with a value of '00 00 00 00 00 00' for those with no associated client.

CISCO-DOT11-IF-MIB::cd11IfAssignedSta.1.11 = Hex: 00 14 BF XX XX XX

CISCO-DOT11-IF-MIB::cd11IfAssignedSta.1.20 = Hex: 00 12 17 XX XX XX

CISCO-DOT11-IF-MIB::cd11IfAssignedSta.1.151 = Hex: 00 14 BF XX XX XX
