*spamApTask7: Apr 25 17:18:20.098: Could not find image version of bundled AP(apType: 20)!!!
*spamApTask7: Apr 25 17:18:20.098: Unable to get AP Bundled Version. Using Controller Version!!!

Could be IOS version mismatch ....

Your WLC should be running a

Your WLC should be running a minimum firmware of 7.0.116.X.

Configuring MAC Filtering

For a mesh access point to connect to a Cisco wireless LAN controller, you need to add the access point to the controller's MAC filtering list.

To add the access point to a controller's MAC filtering list, do one of the following:

In the Web user interface of the controller, choose the MAC filtering option (Security > AAA > MAC Filtering) and manually add the mesh access points.

In Cisco WCS, go to the MAC filtering template (Configure > Templates > Security > MAC Filtering); create a list of bridging mesh access points, and send them to multiple Cisco wireless LAN controllers.

Post the complete output to

Post the complete output to the WLC command "sh sysinfo".  I want to see the first page only.

Also post output to the AP command "sh version".

Hi everyone,finally got it

Hi everyone,

finally got it right and resolved. Funny enough the problem seems to be the old version of the Cisco Lightweight IOS on the AP's. I logged in to each AP and manually pushed the new images via TFTP.

Once the AP's had rebooted and we on their new images, their operations become a whole lot more stable - Please note that this had nothing to do with the Cisco WLC after all.

Thanks

Edwin

I believe I"m having the same

I believe I"m having the same problem. We upgraded from 7.6 to 8.1 and now the air-cap3702e-e-k9 is disconnecting after couple of minutes. What did you mean by manually pushed the new images via TFTP. I'm assuming you went on the lwap and did it?
