Cisco Prime Infrastructure 1.3 Alarm & Events

I am using Cisco PI 1.3 to monitor Cisco 2960, 3750 & 6500 Switchs.

Sometime, when a Switch port is down, a syslog message send to PI and the PI considers this issue as "INFORMATION" Severity level in Events List.

How to make the PI considers the port down issue as "CRITICAL" level in order to raise up an Alarm and send Email Notification?

Thanks & Best Regards

Configuring Alarm Severity Levels

The Administration > Settings > Severity Configuration page allows  you to change the severity level for newly generated alarms.

Note Existing alarms remain unchanged.

To reconfigure the severity level for a newly generated alarm, follow these steps:

Step 1 Choose Administration > Settings.

Step 2 From the left sidebar menu, choose Severity Configuration.

Step 3 Select the check box of the alarm condition whose severity level you want to change.

Step 4 From the Configure Security Level drop-down list, choose from the following severity levels:

Critical

Major

Minor

Warning

Informational

Reset to Default

Step 5 Click Go.

Step 6 Click OK to confirm the change or Cancel to leave the security level unchanged.

Cisco Prime Infrastructure 1.3 Alarm & Events

Dear Sauray Lodh, Thank you very much. I Changed, it works.
I found some strange on Cisco PI 1.3:
Many syslog messages (about interface change status) were sent to PI, however not all message displayed in Event List.
E.g:    All Syslog Messages from C6504 are not displayed.
From Switch 3750, some are displayed, some not.
Even I used Tcpdump on PI and saw that all syslog packets are received on PI's Interface.
Could you give me an advice.
Regards
