Might be going to the wrong site, but is there a way to copy the wireless profile on the windows wireless notebook to do a mass deployment? I have different sites using a mixed of Cisco(WLC4400, AP1200, WCS), Aruba, 3com using WEP,TKIP, WPA2, I am looking for a way to copy the wireless profile so that I can do mass deployment.
Microsoft has this WCN, I am not sure cisco product support WCN or not?
Re: cisco wireless compatibility with microsoft WCN
1) By using your suggestion, I can use the windows GPO to push the wireless settings onto the notebook using different access method, WEP, WPA, etc.
2) I can also push the certificate to the wireless notebook using the Public Key Policies > Trusted Root Certificate Authorities settings.
My problem is:
Each time the wireless notebook is rebooted/a user relogon, the certificate will be downloaded and it takes more than 7 or 8 minutes for the whole process to complete. I couldn't understand why. I am still trying to find a solution for it.
