Client RSSI and SNR history in Prime 2.0

When going to Monitor> Clients and Users then selecting a wireless client, the Customer’s PI server is not keeping Client RSSI or SNR history.

One can see where there is a history of the Aps the client has been associated with going back several days, however the RSSI and SNR history goes back only 1 day.

Any ideas?

Rob,

I think you need an MSE for client history. PI only keeps one day of info if I'm not mistaken n

I'll check to see if she does.

Please do keep in mind to check this out next time you're in front of a Prime server to go to Monitor> Clients and Users then select a wireless client to see if you see a history for RSSI and SNR.

I'll keep it in mind to as I login to other Prime GUIs.

thanks scott!

Keep us posted.

I certainly hope this is the case! I'll be speaking w/. the lady in a couple of hours and will let you know 1st thing if she does or doesn't.  I'll too keep my eyes open on a regular basis with other customers on this as well.

That's why I like this forum---

thanks Scot!!!

crap.

she has an MSE

the only thing i found is she wasn't keeping history in the MSE under MSE> Context Aware> History paramaters

i've enable this now and will keep an eye on it

Well... Can't expect miracles when things are not setup right:).

Now you just have to wait 24 hours:)
