Configure Cisco Access Point by SNMP

Hello,

I'm trying to configure my WLAN access point Aironet 1252 (AIR,RM1252A-E-K9; IOS version 12.4(10b)JA) by SNMP.

The community string for read/ write access is set and the SNMP configuration is working. For example I'm able to restart the device.

I like to change the WPA Pre-shared Key but I cannot find a fitting OID. I searched any MIB's for the access point and try to find something by doing an snmp walk.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks!

Regards

Hello friend:

That object should be cdot11SecAuxSsidWpaPsk from the CISCO-DOT11-SSID-SECURITY-MIB.

The Cisco IOS MIB Locator is at http://tools.cisco.com/ITDIT/MIBS/MainServlet

Hi,

thank's for your support.

I discovered the OID fitting to the VLAN and SSID (enterprises.9.9.413.1.1.1.1.7.13.69.71.65.87.76.65.78.45.71.85.69.83.84).

But if I try to set some value I get the following error message from snmpset (net-snmp, linux):

Error in packet.
Reason: commitFailed
Failed object: SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.413.1.1.1.1.7.13.69.71.65.87.76.65.78.45.71.85.69.83.84

Have you an idea why this doesn't work?

By the way: I'm using Multi-SSID's and VLAN's.

Kind regards
