Error message on wlc

"Radar signals have been cleared on channel 136" What does this mean?

Re: Error message on wlc

Part of the new FCC requirements for the 802.11a spectrum is the need to identify and avoid radar signals that could pose a threat to air travel. What you are seeing is that the channel is clearing of radar traffic that the system was seeing on that specific channel. This piece of the code is related to 802.11h, the standard requiring radar avoidance in the US and Europe. It shouldn't be a worry if it has cleared.

If you want to read more on the standard you can go to the IEEE website or google 802.11h
