Fast Secure Roaming?

I'm working to support and troubleshoot several autonmous networks, all of which have Cisco LEAP as their authentication mechanism. After doing some studying and reading up on LEAP's weaknesses, I was wondering why we were using it and I came across this - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/wireless/ps4570/prod_technical_reference09186a00801c5223.html#wp39327

It looks like we are using LEAP as part of Fast Secure Roaming. My gut instinct is that this is probably an outdated roaming mechanism and I was wondering what anyone else is using for roaming in an autonomous environment for authentication?

Re: Fast Secure Roaming?

Unicast class 3 management frames are protected by applying either AES-CCMP or TKIP in a similar manner to that already used for data frames. Client MFP is enabled for autonomous access points only if the encryption is AES-CCMP or TKIP and key management WPA version 2.
