I have one WLC 2504. version 184.108.40.206. and 4 Nos. of 1602 and 3602 APs. These APs have joined the WLC and the users are able to connect the network wirelessly only when their MAC address is allowed. Once I enable Flex Connect with local Auth, the MAC filter doesn't work and any users can connect to APs and access the network. I need a work around solution so that only allowed MAC users only are connected to network.
Reason for MAC filter is must in my network due to the following reasons
1) In case of WLC failure, the existing users connected to AP will have no issues but disconnecting the laptop wireless and connecting back is the problem since it does not connect to the AP though the SSID is visible.
2) If MAC filter is not enabled, un-authorized users will be able to join the network in the event of WLC failure/down.
or do we have a feature to use the MAC filter when WLC available and no MAC filter when WLC is down?

This is the start of a display filter cross reference between Wireshark and OmniPeek.
The 1st installment is a table of advanced filters. More filters will be added as time allows.

I have created a Powershell script to automatically add a Wireless Guest User on Cisco WLCs. (tested on 2500 Series)
The script should be completely self explanatory.
