We have a Cisco WLC (version 22.214.171.124) which we use for our corporate and guest wireless.
For guests, after they associate and open a web browser they are directed to a login page asking them for their user credentials. Currently this login page is a customized page on the WLC it self and only uses HTTP.
Is it possible to have the WLC using HTTPS for this page?
Or do i need to redirect the login page to an external server?
Re: Guest Wireless Web Authenticaion using SSL (WLC)
If you have HTTPS enabled on the controller the webauth login page should use SSL. Just go under Management - HTTP and make sure you have HTTPS enabled. If you don't have it enable the webauth page would not be encrypted.
