v3 user is prime
HMAC-SHA Auth Password = BBis123!ATis123
CFB-AES-128 Privacy Protocol = BBis123!ATis123
ade # snmpwalk -v3 -u prime -l AuthPriv -a sha -A 'BBis123!ATis123' -x AES -X 'BBis123!ATis123' 192.168.169.200
what am I doing wrong? ahhhh
Go to Solution.
Have you enabled SNMPv3 under Management -> SNMP -> General?
Then it should work that way:
schlipp:~ karsten$ snmpwalk -v3 -u zenoss -l AuthPriv -a sha -A zzzz -x AES -X 'xxxx' 10.10.10.220
SNMPv2-MIB::sysDescr.0 = STRING: Cisco Controller
SNMPv2-MIB::sysObjectID.0 = OID: SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.1.1279
DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (855721800) 99 days, 1:00:18.00
