How do I disable http access and redirect capabilities to wcs app on nt server..I have other apps on nt server that use port 80 that this is effecting and want users to only access app via https w/o any re-directs
By default http is disabled. Only https is enabled for login purposes. One more option would be to change the http port during initial installation. When you go throguh installation you will get to a step where you can change http port of the application.
You could also edit httpd.conf under the wcs/apache directory and restart WCS. We run WCS on Linux so I am not sure where it lives in NT, but since WCS uses apache for NT as well the idea is the same.
