Currently : Using Static WEP

Goal: Provide technology that is both moderately simple to implement and more secure than Static WEP.

I have all Cisco APs. 20 Cisco LAN adapters using LEAP dynamic WEP. I will add 10 hand held devices plus 300 laptops using 802.11 wi-fi compliant non-Cisco NICs.

Can LEAP be used by Cisco and EAP by laptops (XP) and hand helds (WIN CE) ? Can you configure both EAP and LEAP on an AP using the latest greatest firware etc?

I don't see support for mixed LEAP and EAP yet. You could use all EAP.

According to Cisco there is the possibilty of mixed 802.1x protocol deployment.
