Intel Pro Wireless 2100 3B Mini PCI card 802.1x problems
A client's network was recently migrated from static WEP to 802.1x. MS PEAP is being used with MSCHAPv2. MS PEAP patch was installed and drivers were updated on all laptops. However, laptops with Intel Pro Wireless 2100 3B Mini PCI cards are having problems. These machines do not even attempt to connect to the wireless network. Even while viewing the wireless networks, clicking connect does not do anything.
The wireless 802.1x settings have been pushed using MS GPO and the ssid is the first in the list. Documentation states 802.1x is supported in 2100 3B mini pci wireless cards.
In order to improve connectivity, the APs have all data rates below 11 Mbps disabled.
All APs are Cisco 802.11g
1. Does 802.11b requires enabling the lower data rates (5.5, 2, 1)?
Any idea what could be preventing these wireless cards to connect to the wireless lans?
We tried enabling the lower data rates on certain APs but these laptops would not attempt to connect to these APs either.

The 1st installment is a table of advanced filters. More filters will be added as time allows.

I have created a Powershell script to automatically add a Wireless Guest User on Cisco WLCs. (tested on 2500 Series)
The script should be completely self explanatory.
