Intermittant problem Wireless lan controller AIR-WLC2106-K9

There is an intermittant issue with this WLC. Customer has rebooted twice. Now its been working fine.

WLC was giving the following error before it went down.

Crash Dump

Software was stopped by the reaper for the following reason:

Reaper Reset: Task “pemReceiveTask” missed software watchdog

Error Log

Thu Jul 10 02:59:58 2008 [ERROR] iapp_socket_task.c 399: iappSocketTask: iappRecvPkt returned error

Thu Jul 10 02:59:58 2008 Previous message occurred 8 times

Device info:

Model No: AIR-WLC2106-K9

Serial No: JMX1113K0VK

Software Version: 4.0.206.0

Please help me out in finding the root cause of this issue; I would appreciate your prompt response on this issue.

If this keeps hapeing, then most likley it is a bug.... I have seen this on the release notes on some of the code, but don't know if it affects this one.... looks like it does. I would upgrade to 4.1.185, which is a Cisco safeharbor code. I run that code on most of my installs unless they have 1252 ap's, then I will run the 4.2.130. You can also open a TAC case if you like.... they migh just tell you the bug idea and then to upgrade the controller code.
