Iphone and machine based authentication

Hi ,based on the below discussion. trying to understand if idevices like iphones or ipads, support machine based authentication?

I don't believe they can. The reason I say this is because when using machine authentication for a Windows PC, they are joined to the domain. So unless you can add them to the domain, you will not e able to do machine authentication.

How to block this behavior?  These devices should only use the guest web-auth access.
