License relates to WLC in WCS.

Hi,

Our WCS Licenses details.

AP Limit  1000
Type   Permanent

Controller Licensing

--------------------------

Feature  Base 
Controller Count  14 
Type  Permanent

But my controller count is more than 14, I mean we have added more than 14 WLC's in WCS... So question is no need to go extra license purchase or upgrade? becuase I have'nt see problem right now.

WCS & WLC are running with 7.0 V

Please help me.

WCS license is based on the number of WAPs you have.

you mean to say WCS license related to only AP's not for WLC's ? & You can add number of WLC's without any license in WCS ?

Correct, wcs is based on aps, not wlc.

Before you go and ring up finance, are you buying the WCS?

Because I know alot of us WON'T.

I'd be looking at the newer Prime NCS instead of the WCS.
