I got some problems with my indoor mesh network.
Some of my Lightweight Access Points lose connection every 10 minutes now, it worked without problems before.
I'm using an AIR-CT5508-K9 Controller with Version 220.127.116.11 and AP are all AIR-LAP1242AG-E-K9.
In the log I find informations about my node changing his parent and then reseting the radio interface.
I checked my configuration, but perhaps I missed something.
Can I stop this frequently changing? Or any ideas how to fix that ?

can you please try to go wireless - >>> 802.11 A/B/G ->> RRM ->> DCA interval , and configure it high , as 12 or 24 hours,
would it fix the issue?

Your right the DCA interval was on 10min, I changed it to 24h, safed and rebooted the controller.
But it still happens It looked good for about 10-15min and right now I lost four APs, but in about one Minute they will be back.
Still with the same Message in the log about changing the parent and then Radio reset due to Init.
And the mesh seems to be configured to parent change interval 60min.
(Cisco Controller) >show mesh config
Parent Change Interval........................ 60 minutes
How many RAP's do you have configured and how many MAP's. I see your doing indoor mesh and just wondering if you had multiple RAP's that some of your MAP's are switching their parent (RAP's).

Thanks for your replay. There is only one RAP and 6 MAPs. Four of the MAPs I´m loosing every 10min.
One is a child of the RAP, the other three should be neighbors (Parent is one of those I´m not loosing)
How is the signal betwen your RAP and MAP? So you have one MAP associated to the RAP and all the others are associated to the MAP?
I guess the signal isn`t the best. Brigde Data Rate (Mbps) is configured to "auto".
I do not have an WCS or something to Monitor this. What`s best for checking the signal over CLI from controller?

No I have two MAP associated to the RAP and all others to the MAP.
Two more questions:
Should I have to check the Ethernet Bridging at every AP? (Wireless -> Access Points -> All APs -> Details for AP -> Mesh)
Does somebody have a good link to a best practice document how to handle with Rogue APs?

Auto is fine in some cases. If you look at your mesh AP's when you click on the wireless tab on the wlc. You can click on the 802.1a or on the AP and see the signal from map to rap. Here are some links.

I'm wondering if you have RLDP (Rogue Location Discovery Protocol) enabled on your WLC. If so, the APs could attempt to connect to nearby rogue APs on a 10 minute interval, which can have a negative impact on connectivity (Radio resets). The feature is useful if you have rogues nearby with open security, but if there is security/encryption on the rogues, our APs will not be able to associate and test network connectivity anyway.
Check if you have this feature enabled with:
"show rogue ap rldp summary"
"config rogue ap rldp disable/enable"
This is just a guess -- but the next step will be to telnet/ssh into one of the flapping APs and capture the output of "show controller dot11radio0" and "show controller dot11radio1".

RLDP is disabled on the controller.
At the moment I do not have access to the AP`s, still waiting for Password Feedback.

At the moment all Rogue AP the controller shows, I put on Frindly - external. I don`t know where they are from.
But every time one of my node detect a rouge ap I got timeouts on my mesh ap, this isn`t normal?
After I mark the rouge ap as external, it seems to be better but still loosing pings to my mesh node.
After rebooting my mesh node I don`t loose pings anymore.
Can somebody give me hint how to handle best with rogue ap?
