i am tryin to clean up the syslog.
i am still getting alot (~200) of "max retires" errors.
i looked up the message, and from what i can tell, it seems that when a client leaves "the bubble" the AP will continue to try connect to the client.
i have it set to continue to try for 120 seconds, but after that it will log at "max retires" errror.
cisco's suggested action is none, but i would like to stop it from 'dirtying up" my syslog.
i currently have the APs to log noticfications and higher, and my management says that is where i will have to say.
so is there anything i can do to stop the APs from sending the:
DOT11 -- 4 -- MAXRETRIES -- Packet to client 00a0.f8d1.42d0 reached max retries, removing the client
error.
if there is anything eles i need to add, please let me know.
thanks in advance.
