Misconfigured NAS Detected with NAS IP Address

Hi, we randomly keep getting this error message from ISE:

"Misconfigured Network Device Detected

Details :

Misconfigured NAS Detected with NAS IP Address=xx.xx.xx.xx

Description :

ISE has detected misconfigured parameters on the NAS, or RADIUS accounting updates occur too frequently

Suggested Actions :

Verify that parameters on the NAS are properly configured.  Verify that the shared secret on the NAS is correct."

it gets resolved after a time, but I'm wondering what could cause this, because during this errors no one changes the the configured parameters are always the same. do you know which logsfiles on WLC and ISE could be helpful for troubleshooting this?

Hi,I have the same behavior

I have the same behavior with ISE (1.2) and 2960-S (15.0.2SE4) as NAS.

The error message concern only the stacks with many 802.1X clients.
I don't see this message for the switches with just a few clients.

In the Resolved Caveats for ISE 1.2.1 I found this :
CSCuh01760 Misconfigured NAS criteria needs to be changed
... But this caveat isn't publicly available.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

We see this message almost

We see this message almost everyday in our Syslog. Problem is, I don't know what's misconfigured, nor do we "suffer" from any negative effects of this "misconfiguration".
