Mobility Group problems

Hi All,

My mobility group members state on their logs that the data paths to the other members is up but from the CLI I'm seeing that the control path is down. The debug mobility keep-alives output is (edited out IP address)

There are no firewalls between the controllers - have I missed a config step somehow?

As usual any help you can give will be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance

Scott

Re: Mobility Group problems

I would consider whether or not the mobility domain setting is correct. I had an issue where the mobility group was defined properly but the mobility domain was not. All clients were able to roam, but I kept getting similar errors. I changed the Mobility Domain name to the same name as the Mobility Group and the error stopped. You can find this setting in the Wireless Control System. Browse to Configure>Controllers, select the individual controllers and the setting will be displayed under the "System" tab.

Hi Robert,

Thanks for your response. Yours may well have been the answer but I cannot remember as it was so long ago.

Mobility Group problems

Hi Vniay,

As I've stated above, it was some time ago (six years) so I do not recall what the solution was.

Regards,

Scott
