Multiple External Interfaces

Hi Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the Scenario.

We have a PIX 525 (6.01) with two external Interfaces. these connect to two separate routers, (which are talking to each other using iBGP)

The problem I am encountering is, with internally situated DNS Servers. I want to configure one DNS Server with a Static Global IP Address on the Connection to one of the external routers, and the other DNS Server on the connection to the other external router. This is configured, however the connection to the second DNS Server is not working, because it believes that the packets are spoofed (This happens because the PIX tries to send the response out through the wrong router - Default Gateway Related).

What I need to know is can I get around this behaviour in any way.

TIA

Re: Multiple External Interfaces

Two external interfaces? You can’t have two gateways on the PIX so I think you’ll want to review your design with Cisco.
