Multiple VLAN?

Hi all,

I'm not familiar with Cisco new AP and have a question for all. Is it possible to have one access point authenticate domain users on one vlan and then outside users on another vlan without authentication? For example, if i am as a domain user in Active Directory in a conference room I can authenticate using Radius to my domain and log on. A guest or vendor will be in the same conference room and don't need to authenticate and able to access internet in my DMZ LAN domain. Is is possible and what model of Cisco AP i need to purchase.

Thanks

Mixa,

Simply - yes to your questions, you can do this. Most AP's can have 8 WLAN's = 8 x seperate VLANS.

The reall question is - do you want an LWAPP AP or a Autonomous AP!

HTH.
