New License after upgrade from WCS 4.2 to 6.x

Hello,

we are running an WCS to manage three WiSM Controller at our Company.

The WCS is State 4.2.128.0 with License Type "Base + Location".

Can we upgrade from our current State 4.2.128.0 to 6.x or do we need to buy an new License?

If you already have a license for 4.2 you can use it in 6.x.

You can surely upgrade. You dont need a new license.

Just don't change the hostname of your server.

Make a backup of your database and then run the installer that will upgrade your WCS 4.2 to 6.x.
