Believe the MAC table will support 255 clients, but in reality people dont use more than 20 clients per AP because of the bandwidth contention issues that arise from wireless...

Thanks. I figured it would support alot more than was really desired. But I was unsure about a realalistic number. Thanks for your help.

Cisco Best Practice is max 25 people/AP. This is discussed in the wireless SRND

Typically 24 clients per AP is suggested and thats data... If your doing VoWLAN its 7 total VoIP devices. I remember this topic coming up once before. So i did a quick search via the 'Search NetPro' feature.

I got the following links from a post Rob Huffman did.

http://forum.cisco.com/eforum/servlet/NetProf?page=netprof&forum=Wireless%20-%20Mobility&topic=WLAN%20Radio%20Standards&CommCmd=MB%3Fcmd%3Dpass_through%26location%3Doutline%40%5E1%40%40.1ddb85ec/0#selected_message

Now all of these things do not consider that your wireless spectrum may be less than 'pure'. So your mileage may vary.
