PEAP-GTC /Static password fails to authenticate with validation

I am able to get PEAP-GTC/on Win XP working without validation. With validation I get a error message .

"PEAP validation failed, status=-16 error code=-2146885628.Please make sure that PEAP is installed correctly and Trusted root certificate is installed correctly"

I can see server CA certificates in Trusted root certificate store, I did not see any installation error either.

Is there any specific requirement for server CA certificate ? Am I missing any steps during Installation ?

Check that the cert is installed on the ACS & that the PEAP is enabled in the global authentication setup on ACS. Also check if the cert is available at user store to computer store as well.
