I am looking to test PEAP, and I wanted to know if there is any documentation out there on how to set up from scratch, not only on the APs, Cisco's ACS, but on a Windows 2000 server as well. We have not implemented Active Directory, so I assume the Certificate Authority server would be a stand alone.
Any advice/help/documentation would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!!!

Some very general instructions for W2K PEAP: www.missl.cs.umd.edu/Projects/wireless/8021x
And yes, your CA on your w2k server is stand-alone if you're issuing your own certificates. You just need to remember to get a copy of the trusted-root cert on to your clients so they can perform mutual authentication with the RADIUS server. Good luck, -mike

IF my Authetication server (Cisco's ACS 3.1) resides on a Windows 2000 box, do I still need a separate server for my CA authority server, or can I run it on the same Win2K box?

Yes you can run it on the same box. We are also using it like this.
but its not recommended.
