Prime Infrastructure Virtual Appliance Disk System Requirements

            Hello Folks,

In an attempt to clarify info found in the PI 1.4 Quick Start Guide, can anyone point me toward Prime Infrastructure Virtual Appliance Disk System IOPS requirements, similar to that found in the Mobility Services Engine Data Sheet?

Thanks in advance,

David D.

Re: Prime Infrastructure Virtual Appliance Disk System Requireme

In the guide it mentions iops greater than 200.

For the best performance:
•We recommend that VMware resources (such as CPU and memory) are reserved for the Prime Infrastructure virtual machine.
•Choose thick provisioning for disks when allocating disks for the virtual machine.
•Ensure that the disks have sufficient read/write performance, use disks with IOPS greater than 200.

Thank you Basant,

The link you provided does not show minimum or optimum disk system iops.  Scott Fella (above) provided the best answer so far.
