I know but my main question was whether the device I bought had a SEC license or not. I don't have experience with CISCO licensing and that's why I'm asking what might seem like a stupid question. The person I bought the unit from, said it included the license for sec but with my untrained eyes, I don't see it. I see an 8 week trial for security and I wanted to verify that I was reading that right.
I will contact the seller if my assumptions are right.
Your router currently have IP Base licence. If firstname.lastname@example.org determines that you indeed pay for of a SEC license and you got the wrong feature set activated, it can be easily fixed when Cisco sends you the activation key. It's now that simple.
