question on WLC 2504 HA N+1?

in this HA N+1 guide for 2504

in one of the steps he mention going to the Controller MobilityManagement Mobility Groups and entering the details of the other WLC , one of them is the mac address of the other WLC , but which mac do we choose ? is it the burned in mac address under the inventory? or is it the interface mac which managment is connected to?

Hi,

Thanks for using my post to implemnent N+1 HA on 2504.

 

1. Login to WLC1 and  go to  Controller MobilityManagement Mobility Groups , here you will find the mac address/ IP address and Group name of WLC1(as per my knowledge its the MAC address under the inventory)

2. Same method you should use for WLC2

3. Add WLC1 info in WLC2 and vice versa.
