Questions about CKIP

1. CKIP is required in the CCX v1. Is CKIP requirement removed in the next version of CCX?

2.

802.1i's TKIP:

- WEP algorithm encrypts packet per MPDU

- MIC calculation for each MSDU

How about CKIP?

- Is WEP algorithm encrypts packet per MPDU?

- CMIC calculation is for each MSDU or MPDU?

Thanks

Re: Questions about CKIP

I dont think CKIP is removed in CCX V2. Every feature that must be supported in one version also must be supported in each subsequent version. In addition CCX V2 suuports Wi-Fi Protected Access, including support for WPA TKIP encryption, support for the 802.1X authentication type PEAP with EAP-GTC.
