"Logging LWAPP message to 255.255.255.255" after LWAPP Upgrade

Hello,

I have a WLC 4402 with the AP-Manager IP 192.168.253.34. This WLC is in the version 5.0.148.

I have an AP-1130 with IOS. I upgrade this AP with IOS to LWAPP AP. Just after this upgrade, i see this AP in a state "Download" in the WLC Management page. But after the download, this AP was disassociated.

When i try to restart the AP, i have this log :

Translating "CISCO-LWAPP-CONTROLLER.*****.**"...domain server (*.*.*.*) [OK]

*Mar 1 00:00:31.383: %LWAPP-3-CLIENTEVENTLOG: Performing DNS resolution for CISCO-LWAPP-CONTROLLER.******.**

*Mar 1 00:00:31.383: %LWAPP-3-CLIENTEVENTLOG: Controller address 192.168.253.34 obtained through DNS

*Mar 1 00:00:31.384: %LWAPP-5-CHANGED: LWAPP changed state to DISCOVERY

*Mar 1 00:00:31.856: Logging LWAPP message to 255.255.255.255.

%SYS-6-LOGGINGHOST_STARTSTOP: Logging to host 255.255.255.255 started - CLI initiated

I don't understand why i have this log "Logging LWAPP message to 255.255.255.255" after the LWAPP Discover state.

Thanks

Paulo

this is an enhancement for APs to log messages (to help troubleshoot join issues) to a syslog server. If one's not configured, it'd send out a broadcast. Here's more details on this:
